Das Headset BM-17-Dynamic verwendet das dynamische Element BM-D, das speziell für den Einsatz im Amateurfunk entwickelt wurde. Dieses dynamische 600-Ohm-Element funktioniert mit den meisten Amateurfunkgeräten, einschließlich Kenwood- und Yaesu-Funkgeräten, die eine Low-Z-Eingangsimpedanz (normalerweise zwischen 150 Ohm und 4k Ohm) erfordern.
